Country House Giulia
Ancient XVII Century Manor

Casa Giulia Country House has always belonged to the same family. Originally from France, the Alessandrini Petrucci family arrived in Italy around 800 A.D. They fell in love with the Umbrian hills rich with olive-trees, and settled there. The first stones of the house were put down in the XIV century. During the XVIth century it was enlarged and decorated with frescos showing the local landscapes. These frescos are still present in some rooms. Today, Casa Giulia looks like a traditional XIXth century Italian country house.

Besides the main building are restored barn and stables, where the hunting horses stayed.

During the II World War, the house hass been taken and used by the Germans. The owner has many stories to tell.

The house opened its doors at the end of the 1980s, offering its guests warm and charming Umbrian hospitality.
